When travelling around Australia it is hard to know the quality of water you are drinking. More often than not, the water available is not potable and has a risk of introducing bacteria or parasites into the water or sediment and other chemicals. The HPF H1-0 Series of Portable Caravan filters are designed specifically for portable filtration on non-potable and potable water supplies. The H1-0BCC system includes a BCC 2510-P5 0.5uM Bacteriostatic Carbon filter that will filter down to remove parasites from the water and prevent bacterial growth inside the filters. The benefit of using BCC filters (Silver Carbon) is that while caravanning, the filters are frequently in and out of storage which provides a breeding ground for bacteria to flourish. The Silver Impregnated BCC filters prevent this ash fed bacteria from forming which keeps your cartridges fresh and working for longer periods of time. The H1-0 range is ideally used as a dismountable system as they should be removed during transit to prevent damage through vibration, however they still carry WaterMark certification and are legal to be installed on fixed plumbing as a POE and POU filtration system.
